Raw Material
In terms of raw material, for sure we are talking here about rocks, stones, pebbles, etc. But for the purpose of the subject, here’s a list for the body composition of the mouse sculpture:
a) Ears (oval & flat)
b) Arms (elongated)
c) Legs (oval and/or round)
d) Head (sharp at one end and elongated)
e) Nose (round or a rock fragment – mostly red tinted)
f) Tail (elongated)
g) Basis (rock fragment)
h) Central body part (oval and/or round in front side)
i) Mustache (thin metal stem)

Glue
In order to keep all those pieces together, you effectively needs some glue. But with the time, I tried several kinds and varieties without success. Really, I was aiming for something who permit me to assemble sculptures relatively quickly. Finally found it, and this is the result of a simple recipe who now works SURPRISINGLY!

Varnish
Another thing you need is varnish (highly recommend water based) – and choose the one that give you a nice glossy look.

Brush & Stuff
For the rest, normal paintbrushes do the job easily to apply the varnish. I also use an old toothbrush to clean the sand accumulated on the stones. Essential to clean them before bond pieces together. On the side, I fix an identification banner right into the varnish. Under the basis, I put my signature with a paint pen or permanent ink. I also use little rubber string to attache an identification label to the mouse for the display unit in the store.
