Artist’s Signature
I’m signing Pierrot, instead of Pierre but like this: “Pyero” …for about 30 years now (Man! Time’s flying).
I use acrylic, permanent ink and paint pen depending on how I feel but also depending on which is the texture of the basis. Notice that I never varnish under the basis… simply to show how much different it could be without! For rough texture, I’ll use a brush with acrylic, more easier with bumps and holes – but a lot harder to write – so use a sharp tip brush.
Here, since it’s a relatively flat surface, i used a permenant black ink pen. I may also use white, silver and gold.
