Identification Labeling
In order to present the sculptures in the boutique, it was required for me to have some kind of visual.
The name chosen for the nature of artwork I am doing makes more sense in french, because the translation of “stone” is “pierre”! Now you know that Sculptures de Pierre is very well linked to Stone Assembly.
The logo itself is inspired from a logo I had in the past for a company I co-owned in communication where a black cat (Felix) was in background of a white mouse.
Now, to have something for the customer to bring with them at home, I’ve decided to affix a little label containing my basic information.
- The name of the entity – identifying that I’m doing sculptures.
- The name of the series (mouse), because I may do other series in the future (dromedery for example, if i ever move to Egypt one day…).
- And the name of my workshop “Atelier de sculptures Animoshuk”, in reference to my Inukshuk animals made with stones!
Finally, I punch out a hole on every label under the logo and attach a nice string (little rubber band coated with silver). This permit me to tie it down to the mouse for display.
Until next post, Rock ‘on!
