Unavoidable Clean up Session
The clean up is a serious part of the process.
Picking up rocks or seashells directly in the water when the tide is either going out the gulf or rising up is not a big problem. But collecting them on the beach makes a lot of residual wastes attached, including seagrass.
Without removing the sand, the result won’t give a smooth finish when varnished… but most important, dirt and glue are not doing a good marriage! The contact for the glue must be rock on rock. As much as possible, try to remove any bit or chip that may detach from it! Particularly in my case, with the basis, since I’m using rough fragment of rocks for that under part.
